FAQs

Do you really have a sea view? +

Yes – we really do.  As a matter of fact, the apartments are just across a minor road from the beach – approximately 15 metres or 20 yards in old money.  With windows facing the sea and across the bay we can confidently say that all the apartments offer unrivalled sea views.  In fact if you can find a better sea view from a window we would like to see it. Check out some of the photographs from our gallery.

How long does it take to get to the beach from the apartments? +

With only about 15 metres or 20 yards to walk it really does depend on how quickly you can lock the door of your apartment.  If the tide is in we estimate a journey time of approximately 1 minute from your apartment door to the sea.

Are the apartments suitable for children? +

Each apartment is equipped with a cot, highchair and safety gates. However, we do not provide linen for the cot as babies tend to prefer the bedding they are familiar with.

Do you take dogs? +

We are dog friendly and pet friendly.  For a small extra fee per week we will welcome up to two dogs in each apartment with their well-behaved owners. However, it is certainly cheaper than having to arrange kennels or a cattery.

Are there lots of good dog walks around? +

When the tide is out you can walk with your dog across the beach, around the headland, passing Settlands beach to the next village and Little Haven beach.  There are two dog friendly pubs there.  Haroldston Woods also provides a different aspect and there is always the coast path.  Please just remember to keep your dog on a lead around any livestock.

Do you provide bed linen and towels? +

All the beds are made up ready for you and there are hand towels in each bathroom/toilet. Most importantly, we provide a bath sheet and bath towel per guest along with tea towels in the kitchen.  We do not supply beach towels and ask that you do not take any of the linen provided by us to the beach.  If you should forget your towels for the beach they are available to buy in the local shop and we can provide a towel for your pet should you need one.

How close are you to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path? +

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through the village along the sea front at the top of the beach.  The apartments are only approximately 12 metres or 9 yards away.

How far are you from Tenby? +

Broad Haven is in the west of Pembrokeshire and Tenby is in the south of Pembrokeshire. It is approximately a 45-minute drive to the south part of the county.

Is the beach good for children? +

The beach is a wide and firm sandy beach with many rock pools with plenty of sea life to discover at both ends.
To clarify, the beach has RNLI lifeguards during the peak of the summer months.  As a result, the whole family has great memories of spending many a happy time there both in the winter and summer.

Things to do

Is there a shop in the village? +

The village also boasts a Minimarket that stocks newspapers, freshly baked bread and croissants, milk, fresh meat, fruit and veg, tinned goods, wine and beer along with beach goods.  They are open daily from 8:00 am and proudly boast that they supply everything you need for “Everyday Living”!!

Is there somewhere to buy milk if we arrive late in the evening? +

On arriving at your holiday apartment you will find all the makings of tea and coffee along with some complimentary Welsh cakes. In addition, if you are staying for a week or more there is also a complimentary grocery pack. This includes Welsh butter and cheese, bread, local eggs, local bottled water, wine and orange juice.

Do you provide a hair dryer? +

There is no need to worry about washing and drying your hair after a day spent on the beach, swimming in the lovely coastal waters off Pembrokeshire.  Hairdryers are provided in all the apartments and there is plenty of hot water for the shower.
